City of Helsinki preparing for swine influenza

The schools in the City of Helsinki are prepared for the arrival of pig flu. The Health Centre will be responsible for measures to control the epidemic including vaccinations, treat those falling ill and issue care guidelines. The instructions distributed to schools and homes in August are still valid. To access these, click on the following link. The instructions are also available in Russian and Somali.

 

The guardians of children taking part in school afternoon activities have been issued instructions, which you can access by clicking on the following link.

The plan is to vaccinate all pupils and students in Helsinki schools in November-December. The Health Centre will provide more detailed information and give the schools further instructions.
